Santa Barbara Sings
Who we are: Santa Barbara Sings is dedicated to helping youths, teens, and adults develop their voice to the fullest potential through private voice lessons, performance classes, and workshops. We teach specific tools and technique to give strength, endurance, and clarity to the voice student. Santa Barbara Sings is here to help you reach your professional or personal goals with voice and offers scholarships on an as needed basis.
Our Mission: To serve as a resource for youths, teens, and adults to find the power in their voice through singing and provide a place where creativity through music and song can be inspired, explored, developed and performed, regardless of ability to pay.
Why are we important? Singing and finding one's voice has the amazing capacity to heal, transform, strengthen and empower individuals. Repressing or not believing in your voice can manifest itself in many negative ways. Given the opportunity to develop your true voice, benefits your singing and crosses over into other areas of life. This has an extremely positive impact on the self and the community.
Vision Statement: Every person has a unique voice to share, Santa Barbara Sings is a place where anyone who has ever wished they could sing or wants to improve their voice can come and get professional instruction. We also house a performance venue for musical showcases as well as community events, such as open mic nights, girls of rock, youth and teen band showcases, songwriter showcases and anything else needed to keep inspiring music and singing in Santa Barbara.
